MAGIC: RARE THAYER RAPPING HAND TRICKF.G. Thayer's Rapping Hand trick. Also known as Doctor Q Spirit Hand. A carved wooden hand taps (for example, one for yes and two for no) answers to questions. No magnets or wires. Hand can be picked up and shown to astounded audience members. Circa 1930s. Board measures 18" x 11-1/4". Hand measures 9" long. Original velvet around wrist, with lace cuff. Some minor paint loss, not repainted or restored in any way. Very fine condition. Mechanism works well and smoothly. From the estate of a 90-year-old retired professional stage magician.
